The Introduction

The Virus In The Air book is a science fiction-based story in which a lethal virus, followed by a mysterious whisper, turns the atmosphere into a death trap, and a small group of survivors retreats into a safe and secure building, pinning their last hopes on a desperate escape to Mars.

But the walls of the shelter can’t protect them from the darkness growing within. In this high-stakes psychological thriller, the true danger isn’t just the toxic air, but the breaking point of the human spirit. The tension reaches a fever pitch as a woman’s thirst for revenge leads her to manipulate two men into a terrible act, resulting in the tragic death of a small girl.

Meanwhile, the group is haunted by the story of a boy who dreamt of the world’s end long before it actually happened, and the chilling revelation from Doctor Arthur, who finally reveals the terrifying truth behind his mysterious and rapid ageing.

As nature begins to reclaim the hallways and paranoia takes root, the survivors must face a haunting reality: the virus might be deadly, but human nature is far more dangerous.

⚠️ Story Snippet: The Virus In The Air

“The man with the tape in his hand”, Caller replied.
It was Scully.
He looked directly at Caller. Bella stepped forward, eyes locked on him. “Look here,” she said, walking up to him with a faint smile. Slowly, she pulled her hand from her pocket, arms crossed over her chest, and said in a low and seething voice, “I promise, if anything goes wrong with another kid or if they get hurt, I won’t regret once to be the reason for your death.”

Caller quickly stepped forward, placed a hand on her shoulder, and started to make her walk out.
“Use your useless strength for something good, and do not bother this thing up in your head”, said Bella as they climbed the last few flights of stairs.
“What are you doing?” Bella snapped, shaking Caller’s hand off.
“What am I doing? Didn’t you see in his eyes? He was almost in for a punch on your face” shrieked Caller and stormed away.
Bella stood still, then raised her voice to reach it to Caller, “A punch won’t do justice to what I’ll do to him if anything happens to my children. And I promise that.”
She turned and made her way to the control room to Arthur. When she reached the floor, she saw him outside the room, leaning against the wall for support, a book in his hand.

I encourage you to read what happens after this incident to help Bella, too, to know. Because until you don’t know what happens, Bella too would never come to know.
